1- PAYMENTS & SECURITY DEPOSITS

(Little Nomad – UAE)

  1. Payments & Billing Policy

All payments made on Little Nomad are processed securely via Telr, our authorized payment gateway provider in the United Arab Emirates.

Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment.

The displayed price and currency at the checkout page will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency.

By completing a transaction on our website, you agree to the following terms.

  1. Accepted Payment Methods

  • We accept major credit and debit cards as supported by Telr and displayed at checkout.
    • Payment must be completed in full at the time of booking.
    • Little Nomad does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
    • No items are reserved, confirmed, or dispatched until payment has been successfully authorized.

Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and https://littlenomadae.com/ policies and rules.

The cardholder name must match the booking details where verification is required. Little Nomad reserves the right to request additional verification for fraud prevention purposes.

  1. Secure Payment Processing

Payment details are encrypted and processed directly by Telr in compliance with PCI-DSS security standards.

Little Nomad does not store or retain full card details.

  1. Currency & Pricing

  • All transactions are charged in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams).
  • Prices displayed include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Any foreign exchange or bank charges applied by your card issuer are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, pricing cannot be altered.
  1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment authorization.

Customers will receive confirmation via email and WhatsApp (where applicable).

If you do not receive confirmation within a reasonable time, or experience any payment issue, you may contact us directly via WhatsApp or you can email us on admin@littlenomadae.com .

Failed or declined payments will result in automatic cancellation of the booking.

  1. Security Deposits

Certain rental items require a refundable security deposit, clearly indicated during checkout.

6.1 Deposit Collection

  • The deposit is charged to the same payment method used for booking.
  • The deposit is held during the rental period.

6.2 Purpose

The deposit covers:

  • Loss or theft
  • Missing parts or accessories
  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • Excessive stains or hygiene-related damage
  • Failure to return items in rentable condition

6.3 Inspection

Upon return or collection, Little Nomad will inspect the item(s), including:

  • Visual condition check
  • Functional check where applicable
  • Verification of included parts and accessories

6.4 Refund Timeline

If the item is returned in acceptable condition, the deposit will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to bank processing times.

6.5 Deductions

If damage, loss, or excessive cleaning is identified:

  • Costs may be deducted from the deposit.
  • If costs exceed the deposit amount, Little Nomad reserves the right to charge the remaining balance to the same payment method.
  1. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on cancellation timing relative to the delivery date.

  • Eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
  • Delivery and service fees are non-refundable once delivery has been attempted or completed.
  • Refund processing timelines depend on Telr and the issuing bank.

Refunds are not issued in cash.

  1. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Customers are encouraged to contact Little Nomad before initiating a chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Booking cancellation
  • Account suspension
  • Recovery of processing fees
  • Legal action where applicable

Little Nomad reserves the right to delay, cancel, or refuse bookings flagged as suspicious.

In case of fraudulent dispute, the Company may submit evidence including delivery confirmation, usage logs, and inspection reports.

  1. Sanctioned Countries

Little Nomad will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

  1. Governing Law

Little Nomad is registered in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.

These payment terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE. 

 

2-  RENTAL & SERVICES

(Little Nomad – UAE)

All rental items remain the sole and exclusive property of Little Nomad at all times. No ownership or title passes to the Customer.

  1. Eligibility

Customers must be 18 years or older.

Valid identification (Emirates ID or Passport) may be requested for verification.

  1. Rental Period

The rental period begins on the confirmed delivery date and ends at the confirmed collection time.

Items must be available for collection at the agreed time and location.

Failure to make items available may result in additional charges.

All rental items remain the sole property of Little Nomad at all times. No ownership rights transfer to the Customer.

  1. Delivery & Collection

Delivery is considered complete once the item is delivered to:

  • The customer, OR
  • A concierge, reception, host, or authorized individual at the provided address.

Customers must:

  • Ensure access to the delivery location
  • Be reachable via phone or WhatsApp
  • Ensure someone is available to receive items

Failed delivery attempts may incur additional fees.

  1. Use of Equipment

Little Nomad may provide basic setup guidance where possible.

However, customers are fully responsible for:

  • Reading and following manufacturer instructions
  • Proper installation
  • Adhering to weight and age limits
  • Safe and appropriate use

Items must not be modified, altered, or misused.

  1. Customer Responsibility

During the rental period, customers are responsible for:

  • Safekeeping of items
  • Protection from theft, damage, or misuse
  • Ensuring items are not sub-rented or transferred
  1. Normal Wear & Tear

Normal wear and tear refers to minor deterioration from proper use.

Not considered normal wear:

  • Stains requiring deep cleaning
  • Broken components
  • Missing parts or manuals
  • Structural or water damage
  • Improper installation damage
  1. Damages & Loss

If an item is:

  • Returned damaged beyond repair
  • Returned in unsanitary condition
  • Missing parts
  • Lost or stolen

The customer will be charged repair or replacement costs.

If an item is deemed unsuitable for future rental, full replacement cost will apply along with market retail replacement value and administrative fee where applicable .

  1. Extensions

We understand plans can change 🤍

  • Extensions must be requested via WhatsApp or email.
  • Extensions are subject to availability.
  • Confirmation must be received in writing.

If the item is reserved for another customer, the original return schedule must be respected.

Unapproved late returns will incur daily rental charges.

  1. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, Little Nomad shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Travel disruptions
  • Injuries resulting from misuse
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

Liability shall not exceed the rental fee paid.

Items are provided in good working condition. Little Nomad does not manufacture the products and provides no warranty beyond that of the manufacture

The Customer shall indemnify and hold Little Nomad harmless against claims arising from misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions.

  1. Force Majeure

Little Nomad shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE.
