As parents, we do everything we can to make our babies feel safe, calm, and at home; even when “home” keeps changing.
For me, that meant putting my son’s comfort before mine, every single time. Carrying what he needed, what he loved, what made him feel secure.

No matter how big or small the item was, and no matter how much I had to leave behind.

During my very first postpartum year, I had to move across three different countries… across continents, with my baby.

Each move came with difficult choices. I learned quickly that traveling as a mother isn’t about packing light… it’s about packing right.

I let go of personal belongings, memories, and souvenirs we’ve made, so I could bring along the essentials that helped my baby feel familiar, settled, and at peace.

He may not remember those moments … but I do.

And more importantly, I know that he felt them.

Eventually, we settled in Dubai.
Looking back at this journey, I realized how much mothers and caregivers carry physically, emotionally, and mentally. Travel, especially with little ones, often adds another layer of stress. Another list to manage. Another worry to hold.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way?

That question led to a simple conversation between my husband, my cousin, and myself.

And from that moment, Little Nomad was born.
